Thirty minutes, with me
Office hours
Who it’s for
- A tech startup building in B2B AI or SaaS
- Funded at Seed or later, or bootstrapped past $1M in revenue
- One go-to-market problem you can describe in a paragraph
- Marketing of any kind, and brand especially
- Something we can make real progress on in 30 minutes
- No reschedules
Most founders file brand under “later.” I think it comes first, so that’s where I’m most useful.
Who it isn’t for
- DTC and consumer brands
- Agencies and services firms
- Restaurants and other non-tech businesses
- Pre-seed and idea stage
- Career advice or job hunting
- A list of problems, or “pick your brain”
How it works
- I
You answer seven questions
About three minutes. Only the last one takes real thought.
- II
An AI reads it first
It checks the company, the stage and the problem, and does my homework so I show up having read your site.
- III
If it fits, you pick a slot
Right here, on this page. If it’s a close call, I read it myself and get back to you.
- IV
We talk for 30 minutes
I come prepped. If I find I can’t help, I may decline even after you book, and I’ll tell you early.
Questions people ask
Yes. There’s nothing to buy, now or later. No newsletter you didn’t ask for, no follow-up sequence.
Thirty minutes buys one good answer or three rushed ones. If we solve it in twenty, you get ten back.
No. I only offer the slots on my calendar, and there are no reschedules. If the time stops working, cancel so the slot goes to the next founder, and apply again in three months.
Yes. I prep for every call. If I find I’m the wrong person for your problem, I’ll cancel early, tell you why, and point you somewhere better.
An AI reads it first. It checks that the company is real, that the stage fits and that it’s one go-to-market problem. Close calls come to me, and I read every application myself too.
Your answers go to me and to the AI that reads them, and nowhere else. I keep a note of the company so I can apply the three-month rule. No list, no sharing.
Tech startups at Seed or later, or bootstrapped past $1M, with one go-to-market problem I can help with in thirty minutes. Brand and marketing problems go first.
Yes, one other person from the company.
No. Don’t tell me anything you’d need one for.
Once per company every three months.
Because somebody helped me when times were tough, with a call, an introduction, a project. This is me paying it forward. It’s only thirty minutes, and if I can clear a bottleneck for someone, nothing beats it. The selfish reason is I get to learn about a new business and its unique challenges, and working through those is what actually gets me high.
You’ll know straight away, on this page. It’s about where thirty minutes from me helps most, not about you. Apply again when things change.
